Tour Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Dhaka

Our representative will receive guests at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after immigration and luggage clearance and then transfer to hotel for check-in and get fresh. If time permits, the guide will offer you a short city tour. Stay overnight Dhaka.

Day 2

Rangamati Chakma Village

Early morning transfer to Dhaka Domestic Airport and fly to Chattogram. Immediately drive to Rangamati district (100 km/ approx 4 hrs) –the queen of hills upon arrival Chattogram. Make a stoppage for entry procedure upon arrival at Rangamati check post. Then transfer to hotel for check-in. Afternoon visit Chakma community and tribal factory. You may buy some handmade products as a souvenir for your family and friends. Stay overnight Rangamati.

Day 3

Tripura Village

After breakfast, take motor boat and cruise to a Tripura tribal village. Experience their lifestyle. Afternoon; cruise back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4

Tanchanghya Village

Today explore Tanchanghya tribal community for full day interact. Stay overnight Rangamati.

Day 5

Khiyang Village

Morning drives to Bandarban (100 km/ approx 4 hrs) through hilly road and creeper jungle. We have to stop at several check post for exit procedure from Rangamati and entry procedure for Bandarban. En-route visit Khiyang tribal community. Afternoon; visit Nilachal to watch the wonderful natural view around Bandarban from a top. Stay overnight Bandarban

Day 6

Bandarban –Mru Village

Morning; drive to Mru village and experience their lifestyle. You have to trail 2-3 km through hilly walking path to visit the village. Stay overnight Bandarban

Day 7

Bawm Village

Today explore Bawm tribal village. You have to trail 2-3 km through hilly walking path to visit the village. Stay overnight Bandarban.

Day 8

Marma Village

Morning visit a Marma village. Then drive back to Chattogram Railway Station (100 km/ approx 4 hrs) and board on the train for Sreemangal. Overnight journey relaxing in a non-AC berth or AC chair coach.

Day 9

Sreemangal –Tea Collection and Garo Village

Early morning you will reach Sreemangal Railway Station and immediately transfer to hotel (booked from previous night). After freshen up, you will experience the collection of tea leaves walking through the Mirtingel Tea Gardens. Then your driver will drive the car through green tea gardens to a remote Garo Tribal Village. On the return way to hotel, the guide will offer you the famous Seven Layer Tea at a roadside tea stall. Stay overnight Sreemangal.

Day 10

Lawachara Rain Forest and Khashia Village

Early morning explore (depending on weather & fog) the Lawachara Rain Forest, a reserved forest for conservation of wildlife. In this beautiful rain forest you can walk through the majestic standing trees which are unexploited for centuries. One can easily find out wild animals like –Caped Langurs, Slow Loris, Yellow Throated Martin, Hillock Gibbons, Asian Black bear, Rock Python and many beautiful birds like –Oriole, Barbet, Hornbill, Hilly Moyna, etc. Hillock gibbon is one seriously endangered higher primate that lives in this forest. Walk through the forest’s trail and rail track for a few kilometers leading to a Khasia Punjee at the outskirts of the forest. Visit the tribes and explore their lifestyle and cultivation. Take afternoon train to Dhaka. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 11

Water Gypsy

Morning visit water gypsy outskirt the metropolitan city and explore their livelihood. Even you may find sometimes gypsy girls are walking in the streets of Dhaka city and selling some items. Then drive to Mymensingh (140 km/ approx 5 hrs) and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12

Mymensingh –Garo Village

After breakfast, visit a Garo village and experience their lifestyle. After interact the tribes life, drive to Rajshahi (250 km/ approx 8 hrs). Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 13

Rajshahi –Santal Village

Morning; drive 30 km to Tanor and visit a,Santal Village experiencing how they live. Then drive more 25 km to Tikoil known as ,Alpona Gram (painting village). In this village you can see rows and rows of mud-walled houses are painted as like a different canvas. These are not drawn by any artist; the main artisans are housewives and girls of this village. Stay overnight in Rajshahi.

Day 14

Silk Factory Tour

After breakfast you guide will offer you visit a Silk Factory to experience how the fibers made from silkworms. The very thin fibers resulting from the process are covered with sericin –a special protein of cocoons. This is a very interesting thing. From the record, the silk production began in this region on 13 th century. Then drive back to Dhaka (250 km/ approx 7 hrs). Check-in hotel in Dhaka and stay overnight.

Day 15

Dhaka Airport

After breakfast, transfer to airport for onward destination.
