Day 1

Arrival in Kolkata

Our representative will welcome you at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport’s arrival hall after immigration and then transfer to your designated hotel and free for overnight. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kolkata.

Day 2

The Beauty of Kolkata

Morning at 0930 hrs we will start the city tour. Drive by the old heritage building of BBD Bagh and visit the bank of the River Ganga to understand the significance of the mighty river in our life. You will also visit the famous Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Mother Teresa’s House and the Headquarter of the Missionaries of Charity. Evening; free for shopping. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kolkata.

Day 3

The City and Museums

After breakfast, visit Jorasanko Tagore Museum, Mothers Wax Museum; Science City and Eco Park. Evening; free at your own. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kolkata.

Day 4

Fly to Bagdogra

After breakfast, transfer to Kolkata Domestic Airport and fly to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, transfer to Darjeeling (95 kms/ 3 hrs drive). Check-in hotel and freshen up, then walk around the town. Stay overnight at a hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 5

Unveil Darjeeling

After breakfast, go for sightseeing: Ghoom Monastery, Batashia Loop War Memorial, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tea Estate and Japanese Peace Pagoda. Evening; walk around the mall and local market and free for shopping & individual activity,

Day 6

Mirik Tour

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion trip to Mirik (45 kms / approx 2 hrs drive). Mirik is a small valley in the Singalila hills region, 4900ft above sea level. Lake Sumendu is the main attraction of this place surrounding by pine and cardamom trees. Drive back to Darjeeling and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Kalimpong Tour

After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong (55 kms/ approx 3 hrs drive) which is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries. Oak, Maple and chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Afternoon; visit Durpin Dara monastery (Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brong Monastery), Flower & Orchid Nurseries, Dr. Graham’s Home, Dello Hills & Kalimpong Market. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kalimpong.

Day 8

Depart Bagdogra

After breakfast, transfer Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (95 km/ approximately 3 hours drive) for onward destination.
