Day 1

Gokarna Forest Resort

Our representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport’s arrival hall after immigration and immediately drive (10 kms) to Gokarna Forest Resort –a protected sanctuary that was once a private hunting grounds for the former royals of Nepal. Stroll around in the evening or a guided walk at the Golf course designed by David Kidd (Gleneagles Golf Developments of Scotland) and the surrounding forest. The serenity & settings are overwhelming. Deer & monkey wander freely, as will the sprites of all who enter. Stay overnight at Gokarna Forest Resort.
Day 2

Gokarna

After breakfast, you can play 18 holes Golf or pamper yourself with Golfers recovery massage at our Harmony Spa. After the game, a forest walk will be on schedule for you. The forest houses some of Nepal’s distinctive biodiversity. Similarly Bird Watching, Horse Riding, Mountain Biking and secluded picnics can be arranged within the forest. Holy places of worship within Gokarna Forest include the Sirdhi Sai Baba Mandir next to the Hunter’s Lodge. A Bandevi Temple is located deep in the forest above the 6th fairway. This shrine is dedicated to the goddess of the forests and is considered the holiest. Take a cart tour for the kids inside the forest. A popular and highly recommended activity, the cart tour is an excellent way to appreciate the harmonious relationship between the golf course and the Gokarna forest. Traverse the 18 holes course while encountering spotted deer, barking deer, migratory birds, monkeys, and even leopards all without leaving your golf cart! Rest of the day is at leisure and stay overnight at forest resort.
Day 3

Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu and visit the following sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in the heart of old city Kathmandu. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity. In this tour, we visit the 17th Century Durbar complex, Hanuman Dhoka, Paravati temple, great Bell and Drum, Bhairav and Taleju Temple. While the capital city is often congested, taking an environmentally friendly rickshaw puts a smile on every child's face while avoiding busy streets on foot. Swoyambhunath is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Swoyambhunath literally means 'Self-Existent One’, is believed to have been established more than 2,500 years ago, an inscription dated 460 A.D. states that the construction was carried out by King Manadeva. It is also known as the Monkey Temple. Swayambhunath occupies a central position; it is probably the most sacred among Buddhist Pilgrimage sites. Evening, you will visit Patan –the old Newar city. You will visit the historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing temple of Taleju and the statue of Yogendra Malla, Krishna Mandir, Sati Temple, Hiranya Varna Mahabiar (the golden temple) and Mahabouddha with views of old carved wooden windows through the streets, curios shop and Bazaars at Patan City. Later drive to Bhaktapur and stay overnight at a Heritage Hotel.
Day 4

Bhaktapur

Early morning at 0600 hrs, you will follow a lady on her way to the temple. She will carry a small basket with flower incense stick, oil lamp to do her puja. She will take you around Bhaktapur to witness the people making prayers (puja) at Temples. While walking we will get to see ladies doing puja in-front of their house main door and gentleman sitting down at pati and singing prayers (Bhajan) Return hotel for breakfast and then we will visit Bhaktapur City. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main things of interest are the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple and the statues of kings on stone monoliths. You will also explore following sites at Bhaktapur: Thanka Painting: Unleash your knowledge through visiting the art of making a Thanka; a colourful painting integral to the Buddhist culture. A Thanka, meaning “flat painting” can be found in every buddhisht monastery and home, often used for religious purposes. There are 4 main genres of Thanka: the Wheel of Life, Buddha's Life Story, Mandala, and Thangkas depicting tantric deities, either benign or menacing. You’ll know the basic understanding and more about the history of these traditional paintings. Pottery Making: Bhaktapur is famous for pottery since the Newar communities are residing here for ages with the profession for pottery making. You can join a family to try your hand on pottery in a rolling wheel where they will guide you to make a pot with clay. Wood Carving: In the Bhaktapur district alone there are some 500 active wood crafters. Encounter the city’s well-acclaimed artisans who, with their wondrously skilled hands, produce a great variety of handicrafts. Bhaktapur’s indigenous handicraft varieties include paubha scroll paintings, papier-mâché masks, cotton cloth, woodcarvings, metal work, jewelry and ceramic products. In addition, the home-spun Haku-Patasi (black sari), Bhad Gaule Topi (black cap) and the delicious Juju-dhau, literally the "King of all yogurt varieties", have also made this city a favored spot for tourists and the Nepalese alike. In the evening we will visit the local family for live cooking and dinner, learn to play local Music and do some wooden carving. Overnight stay Bhaktapur.
Day 5

Pokhara

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (approx 210 km/ 6-7 hrs). Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900 meter from the sea level and 200 km west of Kathmandu valley. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. Options of relaxing or taking a brief village walk will be available depending on your time of arrival. Have dinner & stay overnight at a Lodge.
Day 6

Pokhara

Bed tea will be served in your room at the time of your choice or at sunrise, if you wish to see the Himalayan sunrise on the mountains. For those keen on bird watching, a walk before breakfast with skilled local guides will offer the chance to see many birds as they forage for food. Bulbuls, Barbets, Babblers and other species typical of the middle hills of Nepal are seen regularly around the lodge. After breakfast choices include longer walks to explore the culture and flora of the hill villages around the lodge with the option of a picnic lunch for those wishing to take a full-day walk. After lunch you may wish to relax by the pool or perhaps indulge in a massage or have a private yoga session (extra charge). Have dinner & stay overnight at a Lodge.
Day 7

Pokhara

After breakfast transfer to Phewa Lake for enjoy one hour boat ride and continue tour of Pokhara Valley. Here, one can sail or row a hired boat across to the water or visit the island temple in the middle. After boat ride, free for shopping in the lake side market. Then visit Bindabasini Temple, David’s Fall and Gupteswore Cave. You can do cycling around the lake side or to Pam end back. Visit the Monastery and you can spend with them for half day. Later visit International Mountain Museum. Overnight stay Pokhara.
Day 8

Chitwan

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park (approx 160 km/ 4-5 hrs). Chitwan is famous for its wilderness and home to tigers, rhinos, sloth bears, leopards, crocodiles and over 400 species of birds, is now an UNESCO designated World Heritage Site and a runaway conservation success. By day, venture into the jungle on elephant-back, on foot or by dugout to observe the abundant flora and fauna. Evenings are for sitting back to hearty meals and heartier stories from the jungles. Have dinner and stay overnight at a Resort in Chitwan.
Day 9

Chitwan

After breakfast proceed for Jungle activities. Enjoy Jeep safari, activity lasts from 3-4 hrs in search of wild. Apart from the wild animals, we would visit deep inside the national park where the Naturist would brief you about the forest and its types, trees and its species, different species of birds etc. (Note: Jeep Safari is prohibited during monsoon season by the park authorities from June-September and in some season it can prolong till October.) In the afternoon, experience Elephant-back Safari. Guests will ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Later, return hotel by bull-cart. Freshen up and ready for Slide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome. Have dinner and stay overnight at a Resort in Chitwan.
Day 10

Rasuwa District

After breakfast drive to Betini in Rasuwa district (approx. 6-7 hrs drive). The Farm at Betini, Dhaibung is a traditionally curetted and crafted haven in the hills of Rasuwa. Situated at an altitude of 1000 meter above sea level, the house is cozy and beautifully done up by the local artisans. Evening, you can experience the farmers’ live –farming vegetable from planting, cutting in the correct way according to the season and milking the cows. Children can go out with local children to pay local games Braket, Dandi and Buwo (play with stick & wooden pin) and Kabadi. Enjoy BBQ dinner and stay overnight at the farm.
Day 11

Kalikastan Temple

Early morning hike 1.5 hrs to Kalikastan temple to see sunrise and mountain-view. The breath taking view of sunrise above Himalayan range is spectacular. Return farm for breakfast. After breakfast spend time with villagers, helping them painting the house of elderly people. Spending time with villagers gives opportunity to observe their life closely and to interact with the local people in a simple way. Tourists can see and understand their agriculture lifestyle, their livelihood, hospitality, traditions, cultures and religions at the homes and in the villages. After spending time with villagers also spend time at public school by teaching English to students, teaching music, paintings, etc. Afternoon again spend time with villagers helping them for household activities such play local music instruments, milking cow, visit goat farm etc. It also includes the activities such as making yoghurt, butter (ghee) and yoghurt drink in typical Nepali style. Have dinner and stay overnight at the farm.
Day 12

Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu (approx 100 km / 3-4 hrs). Check-in hotel and free time at Thamel. Enjoy dinner at Rum Doodle with Everest Summiteers. Overnight stay Kathmandu.
Day 13

Goodbye

After breakfast, transfer to airport for onward destination.
