Tour Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Dhaka

The guide will welcome you at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport’s arrival hall after immigration and then transfer to your designated hotel. Depending on time, the guide will offer you to visit following places: # Curzon Hall meant to be a town hall, was named after Lord Curzon –a Viceroy of India (1899-1905) who laid its foundation stone in 1904. A year later Bengal was partitioned and Dhaka became the capital of the newly created province of East Bengal and Assam. After the establishment of Dhaka University in 1921 it become part of the university's science section and continues as such. # Shahid Minar –the symbol of sacrifice for mother language in 1952. # Dhakeswari –the state temple of Bangladesh for Hindu Community built by King Ballal Sen in 12th century. Some people believe the city named after the temple. # The National Parliament Complex –master piece of world famous Architect Louis I Kahn, is our Assembly House surrounded by beautiful lake and gardens. Day 2

Mainamati Buddhist Vihara

Early morning start for Mainamati located in Cumilla (115 km/ 3 hrs). Mainamati is an isolated low, dimpled range of hills, dotted with more than 50 ancient Buddhist settlements dating between 7 th -12 th centuries AD, the home of one of the most important Buddhist archaeological sites in the region. Visit Salban Vihara (monastery), Kutila Mura and Rupban Mura which are very important to study Buddhism. The recent excavation made the archaeological museum more attractive. A new Buddhist temple has been built there by the Thai Government, with a Lotus Bud on top is worth visiting. After visiting the heritage site, drive continues to Chattogram (150 km/ approx 5 hrs). Check-in hotel upon arrival and stay overnight.
Day 3

Kaptai Lake Cruise

After early breakfast, visit Court Building and Ethnological Museum. Then drive to Rangamati –the queen of hills (80 km/ approx 3 hrs). Passing through a procedure at BDR Check Post, you can enter or exit from all hill districts of Bangladesh. Upon arrival in Rangamati you have to go through this entry procedure and then transfer to designated hotel. Afternoon make a cruise on Kaptai Lake –the largest man-made lake of South Asia. The boat journey through the crystal clear water will be an amazing experience and you will enjoy the nature around and can visit tribal villages beside the lake. Cruise back to the shore and watch the beautiful sunset view from the Hanging Bridge. Stay overnight Rangamati.
Day 4

Bandarban

After breakfast, we will drive 100 km to luminous hill district of Bandarban through the forested hills and tribal villages. En-route you may visit a local tribal bazaar (if it’s Tuesday) at Bangalhalia. You have to pass several BDR Check Posts for exit procedure from Rangamati and entry procedure to Bandarban. Upon arrival in Bandarban, check-in hotel. Afternoon, visit Nilachal and watch the wonderful natural view around Bandarban from a top. Stay overnight Bandarban.
Day 5

Tribal Villages and Sangu River Cruise

Bandarban is the attractive place to visit and to get a touch of different tribal communities with their own cultural entity. There are not less than 12-13. indigenous tribal groups generated from the Sino-Tibetan origin that migrated mainly from Arakan and found safe shelter to this hill plateau just 250-300 years back. Among them prominent groups are Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Mru, Tangchaya, Khumi, Lushai, Pankhu, Bawm, Kuki, etc. Each tribal group has their own distinctive cultural entity. After breakfast, trek through the hills and streams and visit different tribal villages of Marma, Bawm, Tripura and Mru. Afternoon; make a boat cruise on Sangu –the hilly river and enjoy the beauty of nature. Stay overnight Bandarban
Day 6

Patenga Beach

After breakfast, drive to Chattogram (100 km/ approx 4 hrs) and visit Patenga Beach. Then transfer to airport and fly to Dhaka in the afternoon. Transfer to hotel upon arrival Dhaka domestic airport. If time permit, you can enjoy shopping at Aarong –the famous handicraft shopping center with fix price in the evening. Stay overnight Dhaka
Day 7

Dhaka Airport

After breakfast, transfer to airport for onward destination.
