Tour Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport’s arrival hall after immigration and then transfer to your designated hotel. In the evening, the guide will brief you the program of yoga and wellness along with dinner at a Nepalese restaurant with culture show. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2

Temples Tour

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of the ancient Patan City will be offered. Visit Kumari –The Living Goddess of Patan for blessing and Tika. The major tourist attractions of Patan are Durbar Square, Krishna Mandir, Mahaboudha and Hiranya Verna Mahavihar. We will also meet Master of Singing Bowl Therapy (1 hr therapy) and visit Goldsmith and Silversmith working places to see how they make jewelers. After Lunch visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most scared of all Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated five kilometres east on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple with its two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its superb architecture. Then visit Boudhanath Stupa –the largest Buddhist Stupa in the world just beyond the Pashupatinath temple. It is built on a flat surface on various levels of terraces, and is painted in pastel adorned with prayer flags. It is set in a Mandala design. Altogether 108 Buddha images and 147 insets of prayer wheels adorn the base of the huge circular edifice. The settlement of Boudhanath has the largest community of Tibetans – Twelve thousand in all. Further visit the Monastery for blessing and Tibetan hospitable and for wellness 1 hr Tibetan Message with traditional herbs oil and & Thanks panting house and Tibetan Bread making house. Before the sun set, we will back to Pashupatinath Temple to see Arati Ceremony on the banks of river Bagmati. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3

Bhaktapur

After breakfast drive 14 kms to Bhaktapur (1 hr). Bhaktapur still retains its medieval essence, with century’s old architecture and the lifestyle of the people to complement this architecture. Among other things here you will visit a wood-craft center paper factory and a pottery center (2.5 hrs walking tour). Afterwards you have the option to visit some factories like –Nepalese Paper, wood carver, curd, Bhatgaunla cap, pottery, local wine. Also visit a local Vocational School. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bhaktapur
Day 4

Panauti Village

After breakfast, drive to Saga from where you can hike to Panauti which takes around 3-4 hrs. Panauti village stands in a peaceful valley roughly six kilometers south of Banepa at a junction of the rivers Roshi and Pungamati. This place is relatively untouched by modernization where festivals preserving the precious tradition of the indigenous Newars are held. It possesses a number of interesting temples, one of which perhaps is the oldest in Nepal. There are fifteen houses run by women according to the motto “Run by Women for Women’s Empowerment” specially arranged for Homestay. You will stay in a local house; facilities are basic but comfortable, live the same way as the host families do and taste local foods. There is only authentic Nepali food, but your hosts will be happy to adhere to any dietary requirements like –vegetarian/ vegan etc.
Day 5

Local Family Tour

Today you will spend the day with the family and will be short hike around but depending on the weather and stay overnight at the same house at Panauti.
Day 6

Bandipur Village

After breakfast, drive 4.5 hours (168 kms) to Bandipur –a picturesque village nestled in the Himalayan Foothills of Nepal, lays midway between the capital Kathmandu and Pokhara. In the evening, you will be offered an hour walking tour to the village. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bandipur.
Day 7

Naudada Village

After breakfast, drive 105 kms to Naudada via Pokhara (approx 4 hrs). En-route you can stop at a farm land to watch how people working on the field and visit a local village. Naudada is a village where maximum people belong to Dalit caste, visit the village and experience the daily life style walk toward the Sarangkot. On the way back to Pokhara, you will find ruins fort of Kaski kings at Kaski Kot. Arrive Pokhara around 1600 hrs and climb to ridge of the hill where we will be staying for overnight and enjoy sunset over the Himalayas from the Hotel.
Day 8

Himalayan Sunrise and Phewa Lake

: Today you have to wake up very early and follow the schedule: 0500 hrs: view the sunrise over the Himalayas 0600 – 0630 hrs: Yogic cleansing 0630 – 0800 hrs: Hatha Yoga Class 0815 – 0900 hrs: have breakfast at garden After breakfast, drive (40 minutes) to Hanja the Tibetan Refugee camp and visit the local Monastery and the camp. Taste the local Tibetan Tea and learn about the waving carpet and other woolen products. After having lunch at Monastery Restaurant, drive back to Pokhara (12 km/ approx 1 hr drive). Check-in hotel and take some rest. Afternoon we will go for boat ride at Phewa Lake. Stay overnight at Pokhara.
Day 9

Return to Kathmandu

After early breakfast at 0700 hrs, check out from hotel and drive back to Kathmandu (210 km/ approx 7 hrs). En-route visit local village during the drive. You will reach Kathmandu in the afternoon, check-in hotel and free for the rest.
Day 10

Heritage Walking Tour

After breakfast, today we will do a walking tour of Bahal (Courtyard) and link up with Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visit the market of Asan and say hello to imposing Shree Gha, the stupa that followed a monk from Benares to Kathmandu. Stop at the Akash Bhairav temple for a refreshingly rich Lassi (soft drinks). Then visit the Yetkha Bahal whose upper storey is supported by four superb carved-wood struts. Dating from the 12th – 13th century, they are carved in the form of yaksha (attendant deities or nymphs), one of them gracefully balancing a baby on her hip. After that, visit the Durbar Square –a UNESCO world heritage site, the complex of numerous temples, pagodas and courtyards, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, which used to be the seat of the ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. There are also three museums inside the palace building. We will also taste the local foods as per your choice. Finally we end our tour at Swayambhunath Stupa (The Melting point of Hinduism and Buddhism). Swayambhunath is regarded as one of the oldest stupas in the world. It is said to be more than 2500 years old. The stupa is also known as "Monkey Temple". Stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 11

Depart Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to airport for onward destination
